Day 1: Arrival in Havana
Arrive at the international airport Havana. Transfer to the Hotel Comodoro.

Day 2: Havana
Today you will be met by our colleague in the lobby of your hotel in Havana. You will be given the itinerary and the description of the travel programme with some notes, which we have written especially for you.
Our colleagues are always willing to give advice and will deal with any queries to ensure that your stay in Cuba is pleasant and safe.
You should spend the afternoon exploring the Old City of Havana, which is only about 10 minutes by taxi away from the hotel.

Day 3: Havana-Cienfuegos ( 254 km)
After breakfast you will pick up your rental car. The first part of the journey will get you to Cienfuegos, one of the most beautiful and lively cities of the island with its French flair.
Over a long period of time it was used by pirates as a strategically favourable place for attacking Spanish galleons. In the mid 18th century the Spanish built a fortress there and only then did they manage to gain control over the area.
The sugar industry used to be the main source of wealth in Cienfuegos. That is how most of the pompous houses of the sugar barons were financed and built at the end of 19th century. You can admire such buildings, for example the Palacio Valle, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Jagua Bay. Furthermore a visit of the extensive restored colonial centre is advisable.

Day 4: Cienfuegos-Trinidad (81km)
On your way to Trinidad you should stop at the botanic garden of Cienfuegos. Arrive inTrinidad. Overnight at the Hotel Las Cuevas or Finca Maria Dolores.

Day 5: Trinidad

Day 10: Baracoa
Today you have enough time to explore the city of Baracoa. In the 16.century it was the Cuban political and religious centre. If you are interested you have the opportunity to use a Cayuco, a traditional boat of the Native Americans.

Day 11: Baracoa-Holguín
Today you will travel along to Holguín, in which the cultural and musical traditions are kept carefully. The most important sight is the spacious Plaza Calixto García, which is dominated by pink and green marble as well as by the statue of the famous general Calixto Iñiguez García.

Day 12: Holguín-Cayo Coco (404km)
After breakfast you leave to Cayo Coco where you will find wonderful beaches.
