Day 1: Holguín - Bayamo
Arrival at Holguín airport. Your tour guide will be waiting for you and will go with you to Bayamo. After
a short tour of the city center you will have a delicious welcome meal in the restaurant, “La Bodega”.
Overnight stay at the Hotel Royalton.

Day 2: Bayamo - El Cobre - Santiago de Cuba
After breakfast we will set off in the direction of Santiago de Cuba. Our first bike ride is 25 kilometers
long and takes us to El Cobre. The pilgrimage church Caridad del Cobre was built at the beginning of the
17th Century for the Holy Virgin, who was the patron saint of the slaves working in the mines.
Once in Santiago de Cuba, go on a tour of this city where Cuba’s passion and African heritage are most
evident. The program includes a visit to the museum of the 26th July. The rest of the afternoon can be
used as you wish.

Day 3: Santiago de Cuba - Playa Verraco - Santiago de Cuba
Your day will start with an approximately 35 kilometer long bike ride to the beach of Verraco, which
invites you to linger. After enjoying the beach for a while the bus will take you back to Santiago, where
you will have the rest of the day to do as you please.
Accommodtion at Hotel Villa Gaviota or Versalles.

Day 4: Santiago de Cuba - Baracoa
Today you will cycle further towards the east. To begin with you’ll go with the bus for a few kilometers
before cycling along the picturesque coast (approximately 40 kilometers). After a break and a bus
transfer through the mountains you’ll resume cycling for a further 30 kilometers to Baracoa.

Day 5: Baracoa - Playa Maguana - Baracoa
After breakfast you can enjoy a bike ride to Playa Maguana (approximately 35 km). After a swim you will
be transferred to Baracoa, where you can visit the town center.

Day 6: Baracoa - Boca de Yumuri - Baracoa
Today’s somewhat hilly bike ride takes you through unique flora and fauna to Boca de Yumuri, a river
estuary. After refreshing yourself in the water you will be transferred to Baracoa.

Day 7: Baracoa - Guardalavaca
Today marks the end of your cycling tour. The bus will take you to your hotel in Guardalavaca.
